The Chicago investors, made up of Val and Nita Trif, and Viorel and Janice Motiu, purchased the Woodglen Apartments, a 123-unit complex at 4251 N. 21st Ave. The sale equates to just more than $26,000 a unit.
The Woodglen Apartments, built in 1978, are located on 8.5 acres . The complex was 85 percent occupied at the time of the sale.
Turney Avenue LP of Phoenix was the seller.
The Phoenix office of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller in the transaction, while the buyers represented themselves.
