Ultra Clean Technology has dedicated 3,000 sf for a cleanroom and 4,000 sf for warehousing. The company, which opened the site yesterday, will hold a grand opening in mid-November. Ultra Clean, founded in 1991, employs 20 people in Austin, but plans to more than double its workforce over the new few months as production gears up. Manufacturing will begin by month's end.
A portion of the firm's California volume manufacturing operation will be relocated to 500 Center Ridge Drive in Austin to enable new product development at its main operation. Ultra Clean provides gas and liquid management solutions for major capital equipment manufacturers.
