Patriot National Bank Picks New President and CEO

STAMFORD, CT-Patriot National Bank has elected Charles F. Howell of Danbury, a banker for 30 years in Fairfield County, as its president and chief executive officer.

STAMFORD, CT-Charles F. Howell, who had served as president of Summit Bank, has been elected president and chief executive officer of Patriot National Bank in Stamford.

Patriot National is a commercial bank that reported assets of $193 million as of Sept. 30, 2000. The bank has three full service offices in Stamford, Greenwich and Old Greenwich serving Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY. Patriot National also has three loan production offices in New York, New Jersey and Greenwich.

In addition to his election as president and CEO, Howell, a resident of Danbury, was also elected to the board of directors of Patriot National Bank and was elected vice chairman and a member of the board of Patriot National Bancorp.
