It's a big loss for Trammell Crow Co., which marketed and leased the six-building complex in the heart of the city for several years. The center has 2.2 million sf of office space and 165,000 sf of retail space. It also has a MARTA station on the property.

Peachtree Center came into Colonnade's portfolio in January when the company purchased the operations of Taylor Simpson Group which paid $245 million for the property in 1998.

The leasing transfer to Colonnade has triggered assignment changes at Trammell Crow. Mike Shelly, Crow's senior vice president of leasing who headed intown leasing, including Peachtree Center, has been tapped to head all metro Atlanta leasing for the firm.

David P. Lanier, who handled leasing for Crow in suburban markets, is moving to Equity Properties Trust. He will take on leasing for Perimeter Center in the north Atlanta market and will partner with Bill Hollett to head Southeastern leasing operations for Equity Trust.
