Last Farm Land Zoned Commercial

GRANDVILLE, MI- The city council has voted to rezone 14 acres to office use from farm use. There is now no more land zoned agricultural within the city.

The parcel is the last piece of land in the city that could be consideredfarm land."It wasn't like it was plowed or anything grew on it, but there was somehorses and other animals. This is the last piece of land of this type," saidDan Johnson, assistant city manager.

The rezoning is consistent with the master plan, he said.
