Acuson Moving Into Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR, MI- Ultrasound equipment maker Acuson of California has signed a lease for 60,00o-sf of office space.

A broker with Grubb and Ellis of Southfield, which handled the transaction,said the company was asking for a $16.50 per sf triple net lease. Leaserates are normally about $23.62 per s.f. for Ann Arbor, according toFriedman Real Estate Group Inc. of Farmington Hills.

The company is moving into the vacant Tally Hall building, and plans to add100 employees with the new offices.
