Country Club Plaza Draws New Tenants

KANSAS CITY, MO- A restaurant, chocolatier and clothing stores add to the mix at the retail center. The Gap is moving to the new Valencia Place shopping Center, with J. Crew taking The Gap's place

KANSAS CITY, MO-There is a lot of movement on the Country Club Plaza. The Gap, which isnow located at 525 Nichols Road, is relocating to the new Valencia Placenext month. J. Crew may be taking The Gap’s former space. J. Crew alsohas a location at Oak Park Mall in Overland Park.

Also being discussed for the Plaza is a new restaurant at 618 WardParkway which would be owned by James Taylor, who is a founder of the75th Street Brewery in Waldo and La Bodega on Southwest Boulevard.
