Revenues forthe Minneapolis-based builder of single-family homesand townhome complexes were up 24 percent to $75.8million for the quarter ended Sept. 30. Backlog at theend of the quarter was comprised of 580 homes with asales value of $120.2 million. A year ago, the backlogwas a sales value of $125 million representing backlogof 712 homes.
Given that the company has exited fromthe Orlando, Ft. Myers and Indianapolis markets, on acomparable basis sales were up 15 percent, while thenumber of homes is down 10 units. Besides the TwinCities area, Rottlund also has operations in DesMoines, IA, southern New Jersey and Tampa, FL.
