The industrial building will be used for manufacturing by Extrusion Technology, which is a producer of titanium, stainless steel, and nickel pipes and other products for commercial, aerospace, defense, oil and gas, and industrial markets. The building, located near the William P. Hobby Airport in southeast Houston, is owned by CG233 Inc.

The building is part of a redevelopment of the former plant of Continental Emsco, an oilfield services firm that had vacated the property a few years ago. The 80-acre Continental Emsco facility, which includes 500,000 sf of industrial buildings, has been renovated and divided into smaller spaces that have been leased to other firms. The redeveloped Continental Emsco plant has large cranes for manufacturing purposes, and crane-equipped industrial buildings have been growing more difficult to locate in Houston.
