The 320,000-sf, five-story office building will feature a 15,000-sf indoor botanic garden, and will take a "green" architecture approach. Construction on the project, which is expected to cost a total of $35 million, is slated to begin sometime in 2001. Mulvanny, which has designed upwards of 20 projects in China, is also one of three finalists for the Shanghai International Passenger Terminal, a 2.36 million-sf complex that will include a 600-room hotel, residential units, convention and conference facilities, office and retail space. Marchetta says a decision is expected in November.
