Childress Klein has been involved in the development since the complex started 20 years ago. Construction on the new building begins about a year after the firm completed the Galleria 400 office tower. Rental rates in the market average $26.50 per sf.
Galleria, which includes a conference center, upscale mall, hotel and five office towers, is at I-285 and Cobb Parkway near I-75. Over the last two to three years, a revamping of the roadways in the traffic-congested area has re-ignited development.
