Galleria Getting Sixth Tower

ATLANTA-Construction begins November 1 on developer Childress Klein's Galleria 600, an 18-story, 432,000-sf, $80 million spec tower in the Galleria complex at Interstate 285 and Cobb Parkway. Completion is scheduled for second quarter 2002.

ATLANTA-Galleria 600 is under way. The 18-story, 432,000-sf, $80-million office tower is going up in the Galleria complex, in the Cumberland/Galleria submarket in the northwest metro area. Completion is scheduled for second quarter 2002.

Childress Klein has been involved in the development since the complex started 20 years ago. Construction on the new building begins about a year after the firm completed the Galleria 400 office tower. Rental rates in the market average $26.50 per sf.
