Glimcher Nabs Taubman Centers Executive

COLUMBUS, OH- Glimcher Realty Trust hires Scott McCarthy as senior vice president for development. McCarthy was vice president development at Taubman Centers.

McCarthy was hired to be senior vice president of development for the malland shopping center developer. He will direct the development of current andfuture properties as well as identifying redevelopment opportunities withinthe existing portfolio.

The 53-year-old McCarthy was recently vice president of development forTaubman, where he developed value-orientated regional malls such as GreatLakes Crossing of Auburn Hills.
