LOS ANGELES-Sears Roebuck & Co.’s store, the Great Indoors, has joined the line-up of retailers slated for the Burbank mixed-use complex that will open in October 2001.
Although still in final negotiations, Sears recently gave LA-based Zelman Development Co. approval for the project. The Great Indoors, an all inclusive home-decorating and home-improvement store, will occupy 142,000 sf in the complex. The store will anchor the 900,000-sf retail section of the complex, which is nearly 100% leased, according to Brett Foy, vice president of Zelman. Tenants include Best Buy, Marshalls, Staples, Payless Shoes and Target.
