DCM is introducing Software Engineering Institute Level 5 design and development capabilities in Austin, selected because of its strong semiconductor market. The Austin staff, which is a sister operation to one in Gurgaon, India, also will focus on wireless device applications.

Among DCM's accolades is recognition by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University for putting forth the highest-quality development processes. According to the company, only 30 companies worldwide have reached the top level 5 of the institute's stringent Capability Maturity Model.
