The bulk of the additional space will be used for warehousing its high-tech testing equipment, according to a company official. Part of the space has been leased to an outside firm in a five-year pact.
The firm, which employs 20 people, isn't planning to add jobs at this time, GlobeSt.com has been told, although a company statement says the project had been undertaken to support future growth.
In line with the relocation, the Livermore, CA-based company had announced a name change. RenTelco had been doing business as McGrath RentCorp. Founded in 1979, the firm operates under the trade name of Mobile Modular Management Corp., which rents and sells modular buildings.
