The iPIX system will allow viewers to virtually step inside any individual property listed on the site. The system will allow 360-views of the entire apartment, as well as the ability to zoom in or our on specific features. Rentals.com hopes that the new technology will speed up the rental process, and increase potential residents' comfort levels.
A quick search of the Rentals.com site this morning revealed 35 apartment listings for the greater San Francisco area, and generated 85 listings for East Bay apartments. The alliance with Rentals.com comes on the heels of iPIX announcing a Third Quarter loss of $0.62 per share.
