Industry sources say Home Depot is targeting a summer 2002 opening. Pappas needs an OK to develop a maximum 850,000 sf of retail and office, 200 hotel rooms and 500 residential units in the estimated $300-million venture.
Pappas hasn't yet purchased the land or bought out the leases of existing tenants at the shopping center.
