iBeam provides Internet event production and broadcasting services, as well as software and interface tools that enable it to broadcast high-fidelity video and audio streams integrated with e-commerce links and functions. In the future, its services will likely include pay-per-view event programming, advertising to targeted end users and interactive Internet-based training.

In afternoon trading, shares of iBeam were selling for $6.4375, up 43.75 cents from Wednesday's close. Last week, the company's share price hit a 52-week low of $4.75. It's 52-week high came in June, when shares traded for as much as $29.438. For the nine months ended Sept. 30, revenue totaled $9.1 million, up from $0 in the same 1999 period, while its net loss grew to $101.4 million from $8 million.
