The program aims to stimulate the growth of technology-based businesses and jobs by creating recognized clusters of tech businesses and research institutions throughout the state.
The nine full proposals include: Lansing Regional, Michigan Tech Enterprise Park, Pinnacle Aeropark, Muskegon Area, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Marshall, Springfield, Washtenaw County, Woodward Technology Corridor and Mount Pleasant.
The nine pre-proposals include: Jackson County, Emmet County Technology Park, Berrien County, Saginaw, Flint-Genesee County, Southfield, Grand Rapids Area, Oceana County Economic Development Corp., Sterling Heights and Macomb County.
