The location is adjacent to the Tower Records store and is approximately five miles south of the Bed Bath & Beyond Hartsdale location, which is also on Central Park Ave. In addition, the retailer operates a store on Route 119 in Elmsford. No terms of the transaction were released.

Goldschmidt, who represented the seller WBP Associates, says that Bed Bath & Beyond is awaiting approval of its building permit and then can proceed with construction on its 43,266 sf store. Occupancy is scheduled for spring 2002.
