Chicago-based HDR Architecture is designing the 530-acre "Tracy Gateway" business park. The proposed park would not only feature 5.8 million sf of offices and 650,000 sf of other commercial and retail space, but also a golf course and eye-catching globe with the "Tracy Gateway" logo. Rancho Cordova-based developer Piff & Associates would be in charge of construction. The firm envisions housing 250,000 new employees at the park. The developer has said it would like to begin construction within the next two years.
