The Fort Lauderdale, FL-based developer's retail group plans to break ground by year end on a 19,000-sf fashion-conscious addition to its 215,802-sf Boulevard Square Shopping Center at Pines Boulevard and Hiatus Road.

The site is 30 miles north of Downtown Miami. The tentative opening is August 2001.

The 13-month-old Boulevard Square property has reached the 99% occupancy level with the signing of three new tenants. Each is leasing 1,227 sf for five years.

They are CD Warehouse of Oklahoma; Biga Bakery, a 100-year-old, Mexico-based firm with a six-year-old Miami division; and L.A. Weight Loss Centers, a 15-year-old national organization. Stiles' Mike Russell handled all three leases.

Boulevard Square was 72% pre-leased at its September 1999 ground-breaking. Anchor stores are Sports Authority, Ross Stores, TJ Maxx, Bally's Total Fitness and Office Max.

Terry W. Stiles is chairman of 49-year-old Stiles Corp.
