The commission includes designing the $45-million expansion and renovation of the M.D. Anderson Library at the University of Houston. Construction is expected to start in late 2001.
The 62-year-old Morris Architects, based in Houston, also has offices in Orlando, FL and Los Angeles. Shepley Bulfinch Richardson and Abbott has been around since 1874 and is one of the oldest continuously practicing architectural firms in the United States and the oldest in Boston.
