The San Jose-based company, which has 100 employees in its Pleasanton office on Koll Center Parkway, is not yet releasing specifics on its new Dublin location. The move is expected to take place by spring 2001.
Calpine has 20 energy plants in 27 states. The firm, which provides competitively priced energy from alternative sources, is finding its services in high demand in Silicon Valley as the increasingly wired area finds itself running short on its power supply.
