The five-story, Class A Blackwell II office building will feature a curved glass rotunda at the entrance, high-speed elevators and covered executive parking. Foulger-Pratt is the general contractor on both buildings.
Blackwell I, designed by the DC-based architectural firm Hickok Warner Fox, will be completed in September 2001, according to expectations. Rydex Inc., an investment money manager; Human Genome Sciences, The University of Phoenix; and Blackwell Deli are currently moving into the building.
