EMERYVILLE, CA-The Castle Group will soon begin work on The Promenade, a mixed-use development in Emeryville. The project is slated to include retail and two- and three-bedroom townhomes for sale. Longs Drugs has already inked a deal to open a 20,000 sf store at the site.

The Castle group, out of San Mateo, is a privately held company. It has negotiated with Emeryville’s Land Redevelopment Agency to purchase most of the land at the site. The Promenade project is located at San Pablo and 45th avenues, across the street from the new Pixar campus, which serves 450 employees.
