Disney Buys Local Wildhorse Saloon from Gaylord

ORLANDO-The original award-winning club in Nashville, however, will continue to be owned by Gaylord Entertainment Co. Disney is retaining its rights to the Wildhorse name and logo.

ORLANDO-Wildhorse Saloon Downtown is changing hands for an undisclosed price. Walt Disney World is buying the attraction from Wildhorse Saloon Entertainment Ventures Inc., a subsidiary of Nashville, TN-based Gaylord Entertainment Co. Disney will continue to operate the club and have a license to use the Wildhorse name and logo.

The original award-winning Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville will continue to be owned and operated by Gaylord Entertainment Co. The Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association have cited the Nashville operation for Club of the Year awards. Gaylord opened the Orlando club in 1998.
