"Our overall strategy was to increase our image," says Kevin Gray, the commission president. "We have finished the work on the inside and will work on the outside next spring. This location gives us lots of visibility."

The commission signed a long-term lease with the owner, DST SystemsInc. Bill Hagen, treasurer of DST is an executive member of the commission. It's estimated that approximately 50,000 cars drive past the location each day and soon, the commission will be putting a sign with its new logo on the building facade. Dan Fromm, a partner in Three Wide, a sports marketing company that designed the logo, is on the commission's board. Currently there are about 600 people and 100 companies on the board.
