Mass Mutual Taps CNM for Shopping Center Management

ATLANTA-The locally-based firm will manage a total 287,000 sf at two metro Atlanta properties and a single asset in North Carolina. The total value of the management contracts is about $33 million.

ATLANTA-Locally-based CNM Associates just added another 287,000 sf to its asset management portfolio. The deal with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co.’s Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors took CNM’s total asset management portfolio over the 15 million-sf mark. The value of the three contracts wasn’t disclosed.

Two of the centers are in metro Atlanta and a third is in Cary, NC. Shallowford Falls is a 103,572-sf center in East Cobb County in the metro area’s northwest quadrant. Anchored by a Kroger supermarket, the center recently underwent a renovation and expansion, including an additional 9,500 sf of shops.

The Market at Hanes Bridge is a 130,515-sf center, also anchored by Kroger. It is in the booming North Fulton market, about 25 miles north of Downtown.
