Starwood Hotels Names New VP and General Counsel

WHITE PLAINS-Kenneth S. Siegel, a senior vice president and general counsel with Cognizant/IMS Health/The Gartner Group, has been named executive vice president, general counsel of Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

WHITE PLAINS-Kenneth S. Siegel has been named executive vice president, general counsel of Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Worldwide, Inc. headquartered here. Barry S. Sternlicht, chairman and chief executive officer of Starwood, says that Siegel will be responsible for worldwide legal and government relations for the company, including counsel on all corporate matters at both the senior management and Board of Directors level.

“Ken’s wide range of legal and managerial expertise coupled with his successes as both outside counsel and in-house counsel make him well qualified to take on the general counsel role at Starwood,” Sternlicht says.
