BUFFALO GROVE, IL-Plexus Corp. signed a 15-year lease to occupy a 135,000-sf build-to-suit office, manufacturing and assembly facility on a 10-acre site at the Millbrook Business Center located at 2400 Millbrook Dr. in north suburban Buffalo Grove, IL.

The facility will be comprised of a two-story 25,000-sf office portion and a one-story 110,000-sf manufacturing, processing and warehousing section. Also being included on the site is surface parking for 450 cars. Construction is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2001. Libertyville-based Randall Bees Architect Inc. will design the project.

Plexus is utilizing the last industrial development site in the 72-acre mixed-use park. Plans for the final phase of development include the Plexus building; a five-story, multi-tenant 142,000-sf office building; and a two-story, multi-tenant, speculative 67,000-sf office building. When fully developed by the end of 2001, Millbrook will have seven facilities totaling 1.1 million sf–four office buildings and three industrial structures.
