The technology licensor and business accelerator is acquiring a majority interest in the Whisk Co., based in England. Launched in February 2000, Whisk is the United Kingdom's sole advanced search engine and portal for the catering and hospitality industry.

According to the company, the deal marks the first European acquisition for Tensleep, the first of many being planned via a wholly owned subsidiary, Tensleep Europe Inc."The whisk acquisition is another step towards developing our worldwide presence," says Ronald S. Tucker, president and CEO of Tensleep Corp. Meanwhile, the deal enables Whisk to roll out its concept in Continental Europe and the US in a two-year strategy.

The Whisk agreement opens another funding source to Tensleep from Whisk's subscription service for its search engine link to banner ads and Web site design and e-tailing platform. Tensleep is an integrated Internet company that acquires and licenses technology and develops high-tech and Internet-related development stage companies. The company's subsidiaries and affiliated companies are focused on developing and selling Internet products, services and solutions and providing financial services and engaged in other e-commerce businesses.
