In one transaction, the Behr Process Corp. leased 80,000 sf in an industrial building located at 3500 W. Segerstrom in Santa Ana from 3400-3500 Segerstrom Avenue Property Co. The national paint manufacturer signed a five-year lease valued at $2.48 million. Colliers Seeley represented both tenant and owner in the transaction.
Ymedia, an Irvine-based optical sensor semiconductor engineering and design firm, leased 16,500 sf of office space from The Irvine Co. Located in the University Research Park at 5141 California, the building is adjacent to the University of CaliforniaIrvine. The five-year lease is worth $1.86 million. Colliers Seeley represented the tenant, while The Irvine Co. represented itself in the deal.
X-ray security systems manufacturer Perkin Elmer is relocating from Long Beach to Cypress into a 85,773-sf building it is leasing from Warland Drive II LLC. Located at 1240 Warland Dr., the 10-year lease is valued at $7 million. Colliers Seeley represented Perkin Elmer, while Klabin Co. represented theowner.
A 5.3-acre parcel at the intersection of Dyer Road and the 55 Freeway in Santa Ana was sold to Newport Beach-based developer HW-Dyer LLC. Seller of the parcel was JRay Development. Valued at $3.23 million, both parties were represented by Colliers Seeley.
