REITs, REOCs, property management companies and industry consortiums can license the new platform to establish private e-marketplaces, where users can enter important information critical to property management, asset date and descriptions. System users can also manage offline responsibilities and reporting processes by customizing workflow and pricing structures online.

At the center of the new OpsCommerce Platform is real XML, an XML standard designed by the privately held company to capture real estate-specific data, says Naidu. The OpsCommerce Platform includes three components - the buyer interface, the trading hub and the supplier integration technologies.
