WALLED LAKE, MI – The Walled Lake Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and the Walled Lake City Council recently voted to sell a one-acre parcel located at Pontiac Trail and Maple Road for development of a Walgreen Drug Store. The purchaser was Agree Realty, for a sales price of $850,000. The developer will also acquire additional property for the development.

The plan calls for construction of a 15,000-sf store. The parcel was excess property obtained by the DDA through the acquisition process of Maple Road right-of-way. The property is owned by the DDA, partnering with the City of Walled Lake, who controls zoning and planning approval.
