The company is moving to a building under construction in the Blue Valley Center, a 90-acre business park at 161st Street and Metcalf Avenue. The company is currently leasing a 10,000 sf facility at 135th and Oak streets in Martin City.
Arcom's new location will have about 14,500 sf of space and will allow for expansion. The staff of 25 is expected to double in the next two to three years, according to a company spokesperson.
Arlen Nipper is an Arcom co-founder and is company president. The company is owned by Fairey Group, which is based in the United Kingdom. Joe Self represented the developer, City Properties, in the transaction. Blue Valley Center has seven buildings currently, with four more planned.
