Hurricane Shutters Maker Plans $15 Mil, 75,000 SF Expansion

GAINESVILLE, GA-Indalex Aluminum Solutions Group will be adding 60 new jobs next year to its existing work force of 300 in this north Georgia city of 20,000, about 53 miles northeast of Downtown Atlanta.

The company will enlarge its existing plant by 75,000 sf to accommodate new equipment and an additional paint facility. The larger plant to expected to add at least 60 new jobs to the existing work force of 300. Indalex is also expanding operations in other extrusion facilities in Indiana and Canada. The company is a division of Caradon American.
