Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Presents Affordable Housing Awards

ST. PAUL, MN-The St. Paul Public Housing department was recognized for the way it has managed approximately 4,300 rental units and cited for its modernization efforts.

ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Housing Finance Agency gave out several awards to groups that have done well promoting affordable housing. The St. Paul Public Housing was recognized for its management of nearly 4,300 rental units, and praised for its modernization efforts. Gail Dorfman, a Hennepin County commissioner, was honored for her leadership in backing the Affordable Housing Incentive Fund, which will allocate $2 million of county money to affordable housing.

Other Twin Cities recipients included Donna Wiemann, project manager of the Minneapolis Community Development Agency, and Portland Place, a new development in the Philips neighborhood of Minneapolis.
