"We have had an extraordinary response to the grand opening of Arundel Mills," says Laurence Siegel, chairman and chief executive officer of the Mills Corp. "Mills centers are connecting markets along the Atlantic coast, from Franklin Mills in Philadelphia to Sawgrass Mills in Ft. Lauderdale."

Arundel Mills will be home to 200 anchors and specialty retailers, many new to the Maryland area. The center is a mix of one-of-a-kind manufacturer and retail outlets, specialty retailers and category-dominant stores, combined with entertainment venues and dining options. Merchants debuting in Maryland include Books-A-Million, Charlotte Russe, Cole Haan, F.Y.E. For Your Entertainment, Manhattan Jewelry Exchange, Muvico Egyptian 24 Theaters and United Colors of Benetton Outlet. Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is scheduled to open Fall 2001.
