Conceived nearly ten years ago by the site's former owner, John Hancock Mutual, Unigard Insurance Company purchased the property in 1994 and moved the project forward. It took "nearly five years to obtain entitlements and build," says E. Craig Suhrbier, president of SUHRCO Management in Bellevue, the property's developer, leasing agent and manager. According to Suhrbier, Unigard is not releasing the development's cost.

In addition to Centris, other key tenants include, EMC Corp., a Fortune 100 data storage company, ADITI Co., and Unisys Corp. Only 15,000-sf of space remain available for lease at $27/sf net. The remainder of signed tenants will occupy their respective offices as tenant improvements are completed. "It's nice to be near completion after all this time," says Suhrbier.
