The project, the latest in a series of office, research park and multifamily transactions in the sector near the San Diego/La Jolla border, would include a hotel, office tower, condominiums and R&D space, along with a large parking structure.

Developers of the project, including Polygon Development Inc. of Bow, WA and local partnership Regents Drive LLC, plan to build a 20-story, 450,000-square-foot office tower; a 325-room, 15-story Ritz-Carlton hotel and an upscale condo building of up to 30 stories. The condos would be sized at up to 5,000 sf and include up to six bedrooms.

They also hope to build a 30,000-square-foot R&D building and a large parking structure to serve the complex.
