Prodigy's pending relocation will leave the entire eighth and ninth floors of the 851,770 sf 44 South Broadway (Westchester One) office building available for lease as of the first quarter of 2001. Each floor measures 42,571 sf of space. An additional 8,400 sf at the property will become vacant in the future. Insignia/ESG officials say that the sublease runs through 2004 with an extension available. In addition to the 93,550 sf of Prodigy sublease space, there is also 80,000 sf of contiguous expansion space that could be available, bringing the potential total occupancy to more than 160,000 sf.

Insignia/ESG's Michael Siegel and Steven Greenbush were appointed leasing agents for the Prodigy assignment. The two brokers represented Prodigy in its 1997 relocation to 44 South Broadway from 445 Hamilton Ave. in White Plains. The two men also arranged the extension of Prodigy's 80,000-sf lease for its data center in Yorktown.

According to Insignia/ESG officials, resources at the Prodigy data center will remain in Yorktown and may even see some expansion.
