A timetable and construction costs for the new headquaraters building hasn't been determined. Key had originally planned a $35 million, 300,000-sf campus to be used as a regional headquarters in Waterford Business Park, Rock Hill, SC. The first building in the complex was to have been an $18 million home for Employee Benefits Services. But Key later cancelled those plans, saying that a new telecommunications system allows many of its employees to work from home, reducing the need for office space.
