One such excess parcel exists in Kent, WA, where the aerospace giant has built out all the space it expects to need and is putting the remaining 240 acres is up for sale. Boeing is marketing the property as a business park zoned for up to two million sf of development. A bonus for the site, tentatively named the Pacific Gateway Business Park, is the fiber-optics, extensive electrical service and other high-tech infrastructure built in for the adjacent Boeing plant.
Contiguous sites from two to 86 acres are available for sale or build to suit, with parcel size to accommodate building footprints of 300,000 sf and larger. There is no asking price for the property. "We're letting the market determine that," says Ciro.
