Initial plans include: o A second round of community meetings designed to introduce the development team and keep the neighbors connected with the project.

o Scheduling of first round of local, state and federal official meetings to ascertain opportunities for partnership involving the re-development of single family housing in the city of Detroit.

"We expect to have the first draft of a plan to take to the DMC's board of directors by December," Mallet says. In addition to the development concepts, the plan will specify dates and timing associated with building demolition and site clearing.
