Galtronics USA Inc., a leading worldwide producer of mobile-phone handset antennas, has leased 22,000 sf in the Cotton Corporate Center.
"Our Cotton Center facility will be the new international headquarters for our operations," says Galtronics USA president/CEO Thomas Larkin. "The proximity to the Sky Harbor Airport is a distinct advantage of this location, as our key managers are often traveling to visit both our international locations as well as our key customers."
The company will relocate its headquarters from Tiberias, Israel. Just about all operations, except for manufacturing, will be handled out of the Phoenix location.
Galtronics USA offers custom and semi-custom antenna design, development, testing and manufacturing services. Some of the company clients include: Ericsson, Motorola, NEC, Nokia and Siemens.
The Cotton Corporate Center, which consists of a 116,000-sf two-story building and two 74,000-sf flex buildings on a 20-acre parcel at the entrance to the Cotton Center, a 70-acre business park at the southwest corner of 48th Street and Broadway Road in Phoenix. The Cotton Corporate Center was developed last year by the Carlson Real Estate Company, a Minneapolis-based real estate development and management company.
The Cotton Center has begun to attract attention from a number of office and industrial tenants who want to be in close proximity to the airport and freeway system. The center is just four miles away from the airport, is at the meeting point of several major thoroughfares that run through the Valley, including Interstate 10, State 60 and the Hohokam Expressway.
