The company's future home contains nearly 85,000 sf and has about five acres of land which will allow for storage of trailers and containers. Currently the company, which handles containers used in international trade, is at 2005 Taney St. in North Kansas City.

Mo-Kan has about 90 employees. The 15-year-old company had revenues of approximately $8 million last year.

Terms of the purchase were not disclosed. Alec Blackwell of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker represented the seller. Louie Skizas, wtih Rubenstein Real Estate Co., handled negotiations for Mo-Kan.
