"The extended-stay market is the fastest growing segment of the hospitality industry today, and the trend is expected to continue due to changing corporate and leisure travel needs," says Holiday Corp. general manager Janice Hurick. The company built the hotel in Auburn Hills to reach the automobile manufacturers and suppliers, including Daimler-Chrysler in the city and General Motors Corp. in Warren and Detroit.
