Opus West Signs Two More Major Retailers For Broadstone Plaza

FOLSOM, CA-Opus West Corp. continues to fill up its developing Broadstone Plaza shopping center here with major retailers. The latest two to join the party are Pier 1 Imports and The Men’s Warehouse, both of whom signed five-years leases worth a total of $10 million. Pier 1 will pay $18/sf for 10,000 sf, while The Men’s Warehouse signed on for 6,000 sf at $24/sf.

The 30-acre, 270,000-sf retail and entertainment complex is now 75% full, says David O’Donnell, senior director for Phoenix-based Opus West Corporation. Other tenants in the plaza include the Home Depot, Borders, Old Navy and Ross. Linens N Things, PetsMart, Michael’s, Ulta 3 and Aaron Brothers have all signed leases but have yet to move in. “Broadstone Plaza has a great mix of tenants, something for everyone,” O’Donnell tells GlobeSt. “We are just seeing the beginning of retail development for Folsom.”
